Designer, Brand Consultant, blogger… No matter what she’s up to, you can count on Tanya Marie Rhule to make it beautiful.
So it comes as no surprise that her recent jaunt to Jamaica (with husband, and fellow creative, Clayton Rhule) was just as beautifully captured – and stealthily curated.
Here are our fave moments from her nice and easy getaway.

1. Rather precarious rafting at the Blue Lagoon.
Being taken on the bamboo raft ride was just really relaxing and chill. It’s a slow 15-20 minutes, and the raft is really long… like about 20-25 feet. You can take a couple stops to jump from trees hanging into the lagoon, or go to the natural pool at the end that’s departed from the lagoon by a beautiful little rock wall. It’s lovely and serene.

2. The dopest eatery decor.
We didn’t get to eat here. It was on our way to the guest house, but we were always either leaving too early in the morning, or coming back too late at night. But, signage man! That’s the entrance to the cafe… at the side of the road… at the edge of the damn mountain. This whole building-on-the-edge-of-mountains seems to be a thing, which I think is crazy because, you know, HURRICANES! I loved that that was the sign though.

5. The best mountaintop wake-up call… ever!
Our room was the ‘view room’ – looking out, you saw nothing but rolling hills and greenery. We slept with the windows open every night and not a mosquito bother us. Crazy!

7. Chic monokinis and the crystal clear Blue Lagoon…
I got this monokini at Koral Beach Boutique, and I’m in love with it because it’s all black and has a textured detail. I love elegant monokinis that don’t have cut-outs or any bedazzling…

8. All green everything…
We stayed at an intimate guest house retreat, called the Blue Mount View guest house, in the Blue Mountains. It’s a really rural drive to get there – you need to rent an SUV and be a damn good driver! But when you get there, it’s worth the ride. The guesthouse is on the edge of the mountain with fruit trees and farm lands all around; coffee trees, oranges, breadfruit, jack fruit… The list goes on and on. Most of our breakfast came from the land.

9. This sheer confection (by Meiling) is definitely not your mother’s house dress.
There are few things I like more than beautiful white things with even lovelier white details. Perfect for leisurely strolls around the garden at Blue Mount, because you’re in a guesthouse… On a hill. With a secret garden. I mean, that demands leisurely strolling!
