If you know the history of Trinidad Lookbook, you’ll know how much photographer Rendel Gonzales means to me. He helped shaped the magazine in its infancy stages with photoshoot after photoshoot, extremely late nights, and a certain dedication that led to him binge-watching episodes of America’s Next Top Model. All this from a man who would hardly even watch TV! He has been my ‘day one’ for so long - I mean, we still had ‘trinidadlookbook’ across the cover, for goodness’ sake – putting up with my crazy requests, constant changes… the works. And today, on his birthday, as I started to revisit all his old cover shoots I thought: these are too good not to share.
